Roman type, double column. Red initials added later, early foliation. (Without first and final blank leaf, quire q misbound after h, some spotting, occasional small stain.) Modern calf, red leather spine label, earlier blue edges. Provenance : Theodore Low DeVinne (1828-1914; bookplate) -- Imrie de Vegh (gifted to:) -- Harvard College Library (bookplate; deaccession stamp). FIRST EDITION IN ITALIAN. It was previously owned by Theodore Low DeVinne, innovative printer at New York City, scholar of typography, and founding member of the Grolier Club.
