Catalogue Essay In addition to the present lot, there is only one other example of a desk set produced at the metal workshop at the Bauhaus, an inkwell and tray designed by Marianne Brandt Like Brandt’s inkwell, this desk tidy is thought to have been a prototype for a serial production.
