View 1. (Ruined building with engaged Corinthian columns, the entrance through a massive coffered arch) The support is heavy wove paper. The sheet is free, the colors very fresh. Paint loss at the lower left corner. Upper edge of the paper rippling (from water?); some nicks along the upper edge. Scattered foxing throughout the reverse, not visible from the front. Inscribed at the lower right on the back : No. 28. Several pin holes: one upper right; one upper left; two in the middle foreground; one in the lower right . View 2. (View through a groined vault to a barrel vault in the distance) The support is heavy wove paper. The sheet is free, the colors very fresh. Scattered foxing visible throughout the back, none of it visible from the front. Inscribed in black ink at the lower right of the reverse side: No. 34
