Guillaume (père de Maurice Guillaume) par J-L REUTTER son inventeur en reconnaissance de la collaboration qu'il lui avait donnée pour la mise au point du pendule de torsion. *Jean-Léon REUTTER, ingénieur neuchâtelois, consacra sa vie à la recherche du perpetuum mobile, en 1928, il présenta le prototype d'une horloge révolutionnaire qui tirait son énergie des plus infimes variations atmosphériques. Quelques années plus tard, la Manufacture Jaeger Lecoultre transforma cette idée géniale en un garde temps précis et fiable fondé sur les changements de température. Dim: 23.5 x 17.3 x 13.8 cm. *Concerning the letter from Mr Maurice Guillaume dated April 14, 1971. This Atmos clock was given to Ch. Ed. Guillaume (the father of Maurice Guillaume) by its inventor J-L REUTTER, in recognition of his help in the perfection of the torsion clock. *Jean-Léon REUTTER, an engineer from Neuchâtel, devoted his life to the search for perpetual motion. In 1928 he presented the prototype of a revolutionary new clock that was powered by the slightest atmospheric changes. Several years later, the Manufacture Jaeger Lecoultre transformed this brilliant idea into a precise and reliable timekeeper that was based on temperature changes. A fluctuation of only one degree suffices to accumulate enough energy to power the Atmos for two days.
