Lot of 6, comprising: First Six Moons' Report to the Great Council Improved Order of Red Men of Indiana. Partially printed return, 16pp, approx. 4 x 9 in., Indianapolis, Indiana: Castor Bros. Print, dated as "6 Sun, Buck Moon, G.S.D. 421." Lists names of members, wigwam locatiob, dues paid, reasons for member expulsion, and more. Oversized, manuscript indenture, 1p, 34 x 27 in., Devon and Somerset, England. June 30, 1849. Records the agreement between William Wills of South Petherton and trustees of the Second Taunton Building Society James Barnicott and Thomas Fisher and concerning the mortgage of property in Somerset. Signed by Clerk Henry Bragg. Rounds, William Aloysius (1887-1957). Judge Advocate General. TLS, "William A. Rounds / Captain, J.A.G.D.," 1p, 7.75 x 10.25 in., Washington, DC. June 11, 1929. Typed on War Department letterhead and addressed to New York-based lawyer Ashley T. Cole Rounds acknowledges receipt of "five French books with the notable autographs," and encloses a page excepted from a book, highlighting the military career of Brigadier General Edward A. Krieger, a veteran of World War I who served in France as Acting Judge Advocate General for the American Expeditionary Forces. Printed and bound deed of trust between the Bankers and Merchants Telegraph Company and the Farmers Loan and Trust Company, 31pp, approx. 7 x 10.5 in., New York City, New York: John P. Prall, Printer, November 24, 1883. Records the transfer of all property to secure a proposed issue of $10,000,000 of General Mortgage Bonds. Leather autograph book, 4.75 x 3.75 in., identified to James Hines of Boston, Massachusetts, a Naval Air Force veteran of World War II, 1945. Includes humorous heartfelt inscriptions from Hines's fellow servicemen. Hines served as a torpedo bomber in the Pacific Theatre, where he notably participated in the Battle of Okinawa, and was later awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. Reproduction wanted poster, 8.5 x 11 in., promoting the capture of American outlaws Jesse and Frank James.
