When the Third Reich came to power in 1933, Zeppelins became more of a means of propaganda than a means of transport. Now donning the swastika, they would appear at public functions, blasting music and speeches through speakers to entertain the large crowds. In 1935, the German Air Ministry formed the Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei, a new airline which, in addition to showponying for the Nazi cause, also made transatlantic flights to Brazil. Here, we are promised that the dirigible can make it to South America in three days. Very rare! French text.
