Art Deco Platinum, Diamond, Carved Emerald and Ruby and Ruby Bead 'Tutti Frutti' Barrette, by Cartier The barrette topped by 2 emerald and ruby beads, each centering a small rose-cut diamond, flanked by one carved emerald and ruby, accented by 3 old-mine single-cut diamonds and a round cabochon ruby and emerald, completed by a line of 8 baguette diamonds, edged and accented by 29 old European and single-cut and 2 rose-cut diamonds, further edged by 10 ruby beads, tipped by one carved emerald, and a cabochon ruby and emerald, unsigned, circa 1925. Emerald bead: dark green, included, several surface-reaching inclusions, moderate polish. Ruby beads: bright medium pinkish-red, one with minor cavity, minor nicks, translucent, lively, good polish. Larger ruby bead is deep purplish-red, translucent, good polish. Carved colored stones: medium light green and medium pinkish-red, minor abrasions, translucent, medium polish. Diamonds: H-I-VS. Good condition. With hinged clip with 2 undulating rows to hold hair in place. Length 2 3/16". Width 7/16 to 1/4".
