Art Deco Egyptian Revival Platinum, Diamond and Carved Emerald Brooch Of geometric design, centering one cushion-shaped carved emerald approximately 11.8 x 14.2 x 6.0 mm., topped by one half moon-shaped diamond approximately 1.25 cts., accented by one oval briolette diamond approximately 1.30 cts., flanked by stylized wings, set with 32 baguette and bullet-shaped and 70 old European and single-cut diamonds approximately 8.50 cts., circa 1930, approximately 13.6 dwt. Half-moon shaped diamond: I-J-VS, faces up white. Briolette: J-VS, faces up whiter. Diamonds: G-H-several I-VS. Carved emerald: carved flower in center, deep green, good color concentration, black inclusions in center and to the side and above flower, visible to eye, transparent. Good condition. Well-made. 1 11/16 x 2 1/2".
