(M3-M6 with shorter outer margin, probably supplied from another copy, spotted, some light browning and a few leaves lightly waterstained.) Contemporary limp vellum (front cover nearly detached, lightly soiled, lacking ties). Provenance : Fernando Henao Monzaraz (inscription on title) -- Joaquin M. Abaurre, 1926 (bookplate). FIRST SPANISH EDITION of Aristotle’s work on birds. It was translated by Diego Funes y Mendoça (c. 1560-1625) who added observations by other Greek and Latin authors. Palau 16716.
