Cityful Press began in Eugene, Oregon in 1991 and initiated publication with Spike Magazine, a literary magazine which published poetry and prose and featured artists such as Allen Ginsberg, Joanne Kyger Eleni Sikelianos, Jack Hirschman, and Robert Hunter among others.
