ONE OF 500 COPIES. TENNYSON, Alfred Lord. In Memoriam , London: Macmillan and Co., 1899. 12°, later blue morocco by Ramage, the covers with 4 gilt rose motifs within rectangular field cornered with heart motifs in roll-tooled star border, the spine with raised bands and gilt hearts and stars in compartments, lettered in one panel (extremities very lightly rubbed), beige watered-silk liners, g.e. With a notebook bound in 17th-century red morocco with brass clasps. The first named book in this lot is illustrated in colour on the back cover of this catalogue. (3)
