M. Zanetti (B. XII, 1-4, 6, 11-12, 14, 27-32, 34, 37-47, 49, 51-5, 57-8, 61-2, 64), fine impressions, the colours strong and fresh, each with narrow to thread margins and mounted on fine 18th century laid paper with watermark Triple Crescent with Initials REAL, Initials CF, or Initial M, with Zanetti's wash borders, the title not etched but inscribed in pen and brown ink, with an etched portrait of Zanetti, by J.A. Faldoni, after Rosalba Carriera (Le Bl. 16), and with a preface in pen and brown ink by another hand; with ten engraved plates by J. A. Faldoni after Parmigianino, one by C. Orsolini after Parmigianino, an etching by Zanetti after Parmigianino, and the set of ten Capricci by G. B. Tiepolo (R. 29-38), very, fine, early impressions, and one plate from the Scherzi by G. B. Tiepolo (R. 25), all impressions with thread margins or trimmed to the platemark, and mounted similarly, occasional pale foxing, otherwise generally in exceptionally fine, fresh condition, in contemporary paper boards, printed with an 18th century Venetian floral design, the spine with seven compartments, the second with the title ZANETTI STAMPI A TRE TINTE DI PARMIGIANINO impressed in gilt on green leather, some slight scuffing and surface dirt, otherwise generally in good condition overall S. 460 x 325mm.(album)
