Antiquities.- Hamilton (Sir William, 1730-1803) A large vase design (pl. 45), from the 'Collection of Etruscan, Greek and Roman Antiquities from the Cabinet of the Honorable William Hamilton ...', etching and aquatint, hand-coloured with terracotta-coloured ink, heightened with white, on laid paper, platemark 385 x 635 mm. (15 x 25 in), with good margins, [c. 1766-1767]; with nine further plates from the same work, all hand-coloured with terracotta-coloured ink, three double-page, including a duplicate impression of pl. 45, and two title-pages, from the French and English editions of vol. 2, various sizes, all unframed, [circa 1766-1767], (10); together with 47 further engraved plates from 'Collection of Etruscan, Greek and Roman Antiquities', all uncoloured and predominantly technical diagrams, etching and engraving, each sheet approx. 490 x 355 mm. (19 1/4 x 14 in), occasional spotting and browning, all loose, unframed, [circa 1766-1767], (57).
