Antique Gold, Ruby and Diamond Cypriot Bangle Bracelet, Tiffany & Co. The hammered gold bangle terminating in two finely detailed 'Cypriot' heads, accented by cushion-shaped ruby and old-mine cut diamond eyes, signed Tiffany & Co., circa 1875, approximately 37.4 dwts. Inner circle 6 1/2 inches. At the 1878 Paris Exhibition, Tiffany displayed a group of jewelry designed as reproductions of the ancient jewelry collection discovered in Cyprus which was exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Hammered gold is rich yellow gold color. The heads are lighter yellow gold. The collar is of light rose gold hue. There is one small hole by collar on one head, and one tiny and one small hole by other collar, slightly visible to eye. Width of tubular bangle just under 3/8". Width of collars ap. 3/4". The bangle swivels to open. Overall good condition.
