Mostly mid 19th century Comprising nine oban, two aiban, one hosoban and one aitanzakuban prints: eight prints by Hiroshige, two from the series Meisho Edo hyakkei (One Hundred Famous Views of Edo), depicting Kiyomizu Hall beside Shinobazu Pond at Ueno, and Eitai Bridge in Tsukuda Island, one from the series Rokujuyoshu meisho zue (Famous Views of the Sixty-odd Provinces), depicting Sado Island; one from the series Gojusan-tsugi meisho zue (Famous Places at Fifty-three Stations), depicting Fujikawa; one from the Gyosho Tokaido depicting Kusatsu; one of Hamamatsu from the series Hizakurige dochu suzume, depicting humorous adventures of two travellers, Yaji and Kita, on the Tokaido; one of Eitai Bridge from the series Edo meisho; the last of kacho-ga depicting a blue bird perched on a tree branch, variously published, signed Hiroshige ga/hitsu; one by Hiroshige II from the series Shokoku meisho hyakkei, depicting Kanazawa in Kaga Province, signed Hiroshige ga; one by Hirokage titled Edo Meisho doke zukushi, signed Hirokage ga; one by Taito depicting Tekkai Sennin, signed Taito; and two facsimiles, Aka Fuji after Hokusai and one from the series Uo zukushi after Hiroshige, all framed and glazed except for one. The smallest 27.2cm x 11.1cm (10¾in x 4 3/8in), the largest 37.8cm x 25cm (14 7/8in x 9 7/8in). (13).
