This(and some other small pieces) were given to me by dealers in Mazar-i-Sharif bazaar in 1992, even ones I didnÆt buy from. They were so pleased to see a European there; an Uzbek suzani in purple silk with embroidered floral motifs, and with a cotton border with triangular pattersn, 112cm x 115cm (AS-59).
