An Ottoman Shasqua, A Silver-Mounted Balkan Yataghan, A Turkish Kilij, A Sumbawan Executioner's Kris, And Two Indian Tulwars 18th Century and later, the first signed J. Niyitits Erben Constantinopel The first with signed single-edged etched fullered blade (some surface rust), horn grip-scales (chipped), and original leather-covered wooden scabbard with white metal mounts (damaged, chape replaced); the second with single-edged blade with silver-inlaid decoration and an Arabic inscription including the maker's name 'Muhammad', the owner's name 'Hasan Qarha', and the date 1211 A.H./1796 A.D., cast and chased silver collar, dark horn grip-scales, and original leather-covered wooden scabbard with silver locket (chape replaced); the third with single-edged blade of characteristic form with a silver-damascened pious invocation in Arabic (hilt loose), in brass-mounted scabbard; the fourth with horn hilt carved with foliage, and wooden scabbard; the last each with iron hilt of characteristic form, one with silver-damascened decoration (damascening worn) 22in. (55.9cm.) to 31½in. (80cm.) blades (6)
