The hinged top with a central panel depicting dancing putti in a landscape within an anthemion border, the frieze centered by an escutcheon bearing the initials SCB, the lower section with a frieze depicting hippocampi, Tritons and nymphs, raised on an egg-and-dart plinth with a guilloche border on bracket feet with dragons. height 7 1/2 in.; width 19 1/4 in.; depth 15 in. 19 cm; 49 cm; 38 cm
