AN INTERESTING COLLECTION OF PERSONAL EFFECTS, belonging to Squadron Officer Aileen Bowen Morris 'Mike' (nee Clayton), to include her R.A.F peak cap, made by Scott and Co, Piccadilly, inscribed on label 'SQ / OFF A.B. Morris with crewl work badge and brass gilt eagle. A black and white photograph of S.O. A.B. Morris with possibly her brother, Flight Sargeant George P. Morris. A paperback copy of her book 'The Enemy is Listening', published by Ballentine. And a collection of items including a spare cap badge, a pair of her earrings, four lapel badges, a leather ID label, a silver bracelet, a selection of buttons, coins and a brass belt buckle and a 'rude' trinket showing her sense of humour. (Squadron Officer Aileen Bowen Morris 'Mike' was in a unique position during WWII, serving in 'Y Station' (Intelligence), being a fluent German speaker and a woman in a pre-dominantly male organisation of the time).
