An interesting collection of letters and documents including autograph letters signed by Robert Peel Admiral Charles Beresford (2), Sir Garnet Wolseley (2), Lord Roberts, Lord Fisher (2), the Duke of Wellington, W.W. Astor, the Duke of Beaufort, Prince Louis of Battenburg; also 1909 hand written letter (in the third person) from Ernest Shackleton, and two similar letters from the Duke of Wellington. We note a correspondence of letters to the Giffard family, and a small group of European items of military interest. (several hundred)
