An Indian Tulwar, An Indian Pesh-Kabz, And An Indian Jambiya 18th/19th Century, the second probably Lucknow The first with curved watered single-edged blade, one side with a gold-damascened cartouche containing Arabic pious invocations and an inscription including the maker's name 'Sharif' and the date 1125 A.H./1713-14 A.D., iron hilt with knuckle-guard, cut throughout with gold-damascened flower-heads and foliage on a punched ground, and wooden scabbard covered in purple velvet; the second with watered sharply-pointed blade, beaked hilt with engraved silver mounts and walrus-ivory grip-scales of plano-convex section, and wooden scabbard covered in crimson velvet with silver locket and chape polychrome enamelled with birds and foliage (enamel mostly missing); the last with curved watered double-edged fullered blade reinforced at the point and with chiselled and gilt flower-head on each side at the forte, iron hilt damascened with gold foliage, and rounded ivory grip-scales The first with 32in.
