The first with three-stage barrel of hog's back form elaborately twist with alternate waved bands of damascus pattern, rifled with eight grooves and retained by five pierced steel barrel bands, the breech and slightly flared muzzle each damascened in gold with carnations and foliage against a gold ground, the latter set with alternate cabochon rubies and turquoises, gilt back-sight, shaped pan with pivoting pan-cover, hardwood full stock (probably later) with characteristic fish-tail butt (repaired) inlaid with ivory quatrefoils between line borders and dots, trigger pierced as an arabesque, sling loops, and original steel ramrod with gold-damascened tip; the second with twist barrel of part hog's back form with faceted flared muzzle and retained by five brass band, the breech with brass-lined barrelsmith's mark and incised 'Work of Kari-i' in nasta'liq beyond, lock engraved with the mark of the East India Company, hardwood three-quarter stock (reduced from full, some damage and repairs) with curved butt of circular section and decorated with bone and mother-of-pearl inlays, later steel trigger-guard, leather sling, and later steel ramrod; the last with slightly flared sighted barrel, tang cut with a Turkish couplet 'You have great sight and mastery at war, alas the commander of love has no loyalty at all' in nasta'liq, flat lock of English form with roller, figured hardwood full stock, pierced matchlock trigger, steel trigger-guard, sling loops, and original steel ramrod (steel parts with light pitting overall (3) 105 cm., 99.2 cm. and 95.5 cm. barrels
