An Imposing Rouleau ‘Dragon’ Vase The tall sides rising from a circular base, the tall cylindrical neck with straight everted rim, decorated in shades of underglaze blue with gilt details, painted to the body with two finely rendered four-clawed dragons leaping up from foaming waves, the scales picked out in gold, each reaching for a flaming pearl and surrounded by ribbons of flames, stylised rockwork around the base, a band of triangle work around the shoulder and mouth rim, the neck with a central collar of diaper patterns in underglaze blue flanking a gold band, the base glazed, together with wood stand.
