* An Important Platinum, Emerald and Diamond Ring, containing one octagonal step cut emerald measuring approximately 10.85 x 8.50 x 5.80 mm, one antique octagonal step cut diamond weighing approximately 4.27 carats, six tapered and straight baguette cut emeralds and seven tapered and straight baguette cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.48 carat total, within an intricately constructed openwork setting. Stamp: 10%IRID PLAT. Accompanied by an American Gemological Laboratories emerald identification and origin certificate number CS 62417, dated July 23, 2014, stating Mineral Type: Natural Beryl, Variety: Emerald, Origin: Classic Colombia, Clarity Enhancement: Insignificant, Type: Traditional. Accompanied by a Gemological Institute of America diamond grading certificate number 1166454381, dated August 1, 2014, stating Weight: 4.27 carats, Color: F, Clarity: VS2, Table: 61.00%, Depth: 57.60%, Polish: Very Good, Symmetry: Good, Fluorescence: None. 5.70 dwts. Estimate $ 80,000-120,000 Property from the Estate of Dorothy K. The ring is complete with no stone deficiencies, the center diamond and emerald are slightly loose in the settings. The center emerald shows minor wear consisting of facet wear abrasion at the table/crown facet junctions and slight chips to the girdle edge. The center diamond shows minor-moderate wear consisting of chips to the girdle edge. The melee diamonds set in the shoulders and sides of the setting show no obvious wear. The melee emeralds set into the shoulder show minor abrasion. The ring shows no signs of previous damage or repair.
