An extremely fine exhibition standard 5in. gauge model of the Great Western Railway Saint Class 4-6-0 locomotive and tender No 2987 'Bride of Lammermoor', built by J.F. Adams with brazed superheated copper boiler with scale fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle, steam brake, clack and blowdown valves, and dummy scale vacuum gauge, multiple sight glass lubricator and regulator with displacelment lubricator linkage. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with inside Stephenson's link reverse, footplate controlled draincocks, cylinder head pressure relief valves, finely fluted connecting rods, mechanical lubricator, steam operated brake gear, dummy sanding gear, injector, whistle, fine pipework and rivet detailing. Tender details include hand operated brake gear, watercocks, tool boxes, firing iron rack, hand feed pump, vacuum tank, steps, hand and lamp irons, finished in finely lined GWR livery and lining -- 15½ x 69½in.
