A large scale, and well detailed model of this Danish trading vessel from 1807. The hull is built up in plank on frame construction, with natural topsides, a black waist and a white painted bottom. The deck is planked and fitted with numerous details which include: anchors, anchor windlass, deck hatches, barrels, bilge pumps, pin and fife rails, traveller bars, long boat lashed amidships, galley on deck, companionway, boxed compass, tiller, chicken coops and other details. The model is fully rigged with two masts, standing and running rigging, turning blocks, a full suit of stitched linen sails, windex and a large Danish flag. Signed by the builder on the midship hatch cover. Displayed on a black painted cradle. 63 x 24 x 47-1/2 in. (160 x 61.6 x 120.7 cm.)
