AN ETRUSCAN BUCCHERO WARE AMPHORA 6TH CENTURY B.C. The spherical footed body with neck rising to a flaring rim, with two strap handles each decorated with two openwork triangles bordered by double incised lines, incised encircling lines around the body, 10 in. (25.4 cm.) high; a Villanovan impasto ware jug with pinched spout and strap handle, the squat globular body decorated with four line incised stepped meanders, 6¾ in. (17.2 cm.) high; another impasto jar with loop handle on the shoulder and cylindrical neck with everted rim, with hatched rope pattern stepped meanders on the body, a similar line at base of neck suspended with impressed triangles, 7 in. (17.7 cm.) high; and a footed biconical jar with side handle and neck tapering to a horizontal rim, hatched rope pattern band below the rim with incised double interlocking triangles below, foot repaired, 6.1/8 in. (15.5 cm.) high, all 8th Century B.C. (4)
