An English mahogany and ebonised ship's master clock Gents', Leicester No. 6628; issued April 1949 The rectangular case with double glazed doors and central white enamel Arabic clock dial signed Gents' of Leicester Made in England with black painted hands, the movement with platform lever escapement with remontoir system giving impulse to a pulsynetic system on the right hand side set using a silvered calibrated wheel; with a letter from the Chloride Gent Company stating that clock number 6628 was a master clock manufactured on 4th May 1949 for the vessel SS Himalaya; with photocopy of Gents' of Leicester Marine type control clock systems 27 ins. 69 cm. long, 15¼ ins. 39 cm. high
