AN ENGLISH CARPET OF NEOCLASSICAL DESIGN CIRCA 1910 The burnt-orange field with scrolling acanthus and flower-filled cornucopiae around an over-sized central moulded laurel-wreath roundel surrounding a central pink rosette centrepiece, in a panelled border containing individual flowerheads between lilac flowerhead minor stripes and a golden moulded leaf outer stripe, full pile throughout, slightly dry wefts with associated scattered small splits and light surface stains 17 ft. 5 in. x 12 ft. 10 in. (530 cm. x 392 cm.)
