Circa 1965 The narrow frame joined by six pillars, surmounted by a gilt-brass eagle set on silvered brass sphere, the engraved and silvered Roman chapter ring with blued steel hands above a silvered and engraved thermometer scale flanked by brass columns, on green marble double plinth and on gilt-brass bun feet, the weight-driven movement with front pull-wind, anchor escapement and fine beat adjustmnent, under glazed cover; pendulum, three weights 20¾ in. (52.5 cm.) excluding cover
