An Empire Style Gilt Metal Low Table 20th century the oval mirrored top having a pierced gallery worked to show a continuous band of volutes and paterae spaced by ribbon tied wreaths, raised on cylindrical twist-fluted tapering legs. Height 17 7/8 x width 44 3/4 x depth 24 3/4 inches. Estimate $ 300-500 Likely adapted from a surtout de table. In good, stable, usable condition. Mirror to top intact without cracks or repairs, but having losses to silvering to back of mirror. Frame also intact, slightly out of round, with fairly even dirty patina.
