An emerald and diamond ring, the heart-cut emerald collet set between shoulders rubover set with trios of baguette-cut diamonds, to a heavy shank, mounted in yellow precious metal, shank stamped ‘750’ and ‘TW-IF 0.50 0.50’, ring size O½. £400-600 Condition Report The emerald is a darkish mid green, with some inclusions visible and some surface rubbing. The diamonds are clean and bright. The marks to the inside of the shank indicate that the diamonds have a clarity of IF and a colour of K-L (TW - tinted white) and have a total weight of 0.5 carats and the emerald weighs 0.5 carats - due to the setting is is not possible to verify this. The mount shows general light surface wear. Gross weight of ring 8gm. Length of heart-shaped bezel 7.2mm.
