AN EGYPTIAN ALABASTER JAR NEW KINGDOM, DYNASTY XVIII, CIRCA 1479-1425 B.C. The tall elongated body in two parts, with rounded shoulder and tapered to a pointed base, with twin vestigial inverted 'V' handles on the shoulder, rim missing, 10½ in. (26.7 cm.) high; a group of Egyptian scarabs and glazed composition amulets including a turquoise Girdle of Isis or tyet amulet, four djed -pillars, a wadj -sceptre, a wedjat -eye and another of multiple form, a Horus falcon amulet, a figure of kneeling Shu and a Ptah figure, Late Period-Ptolemaic, circa 6th-1st Century B.C.; and a large frit scarab, 1½ in. (3.8 cm.) long max.(a lot)
