The 4 inch signed white enamel dial with concentric date enclosing the Arabic quarters and Roman hours, with moon hands in a cast bezel, set over a lattice engraved ormolu panel centred by the rotating painted and engraved moon-phase. The movement with circular brass plates, signed across the backplate 'Robin aux Galeries du Louvre a Paris', with silk suspension and outside countwheel striking on a bell. 34cms (13ins) high.
