The field with bold scrolling arabesques and delicate flowering vine around large medallion with similar design and double floral centrepiece. In stylised palmette, arabesque and floral vine border between flowering vine, linked lozenge and plain stripes. Slight localized areas of slight wear in places. Selvages original with touches of wear and rebound. Small old repairs in one or two places, well done. Ends with fringes. In general this carpet is in very good usable condition. Good colour combination and very attractive design.
