An American Room Box comprising a mahogany breakfront bookcase signed Mark and fitted with 69 Chinese style blue and white porcelain articles decorated by Jean E. Yingling; a Baroque style parquetry table by George Becker dated 1977 fitted with a porcelain vase and an enamel and gilt metal sword; two wingback chairs and ottomans and a window bench having tufted upholstery by Gail Steffey; a brass inlaid mahogany table raised on a baluster form support by Madelyn Cook; a George II style mahogany writing desk and side chair by Tom Poitras; together with a collection of decorative articles comprising a porcelain vase, a Russian style lacquered box by Natasha Beshenkovsky dated 1985; a table lamp signed R. R. '86; a silver vase signed Starr Sterling; an enameled metal tricycyle by Bill Hudson; two pillows; a doll; a teddy bar and a bouquet of flowers, the whole encased within a plexiglass cover having a mirrored wall. Height 9 5/8 x 15 3/4 x depth 16 3/4 inches. Estimate $ 800-1,200 Footnote: Please note that all lots included in this auction, the O'Meara Benedict Collection of Dollhouse Miniatures, are miniature-sized. In good condition overall. Areas of tarnish and polish residue to the silver vase. Upholstered furniture by Gail Steffey in good condition, with one wingback chair having a minor split to the upholstery over the back leg on the proper-left side. Some discoloration and adhesive putty residue to the parquetry top of the table by George Becker, together with minor instances of variation to the stain of the table's back panel. Scattered, minor deposits of adhesive putty to the decorative articles. Tricycle by Bill Hudson in good condition with minuscule areas of loss to the enameled metal frame. Minor areas of adhesive residue to the writing desk by George Poitras.
