An Admiralty Deckwatch in mahogany 2-tier carrying box, white enamel dial signed A Johannsen & Co. 149 Minories London 7956 and with the Government mark, Roman chapters, Arabic 5-minute intermarkers, centre second sweep, blued steel hands, ¾-plate going barrel-lever movement jewelled to the centre, free-sprung cut bi-metallic Pennington-type balance, flat balance spring with Breguet overcoil, top-plate similarly signed on dial with the Government mark, in silver case, hallmarked London 1916, contained in brass drum holder with glazed screw-on bezel in 2-tier mahogany box, the top lid with inset plaque inscribed A Johannsen & Co. 7956 CW
