Formerly published as The Railroad and Engineering Journal as established in 1832. This new series incorporates The American Railroad Journal and Van Nostrand’s Engineering Magazine. Excellent reference series containing railroad news and advances in locomotive technology accompanied with numerous illustrations of machines, parts, locations, etc., etc. Gilt imprint “Société des Ingénieurs Civils de France” and their old inked inventory labels on spines.
