His work is considered as the first attempt to apply a preterist interpretation to the prophecies: According to Alcazar, some of the events have already happened. Our copy is the fourth print, published in 1619, richly illustrated with engraved illustrations by Don Juan Jaureguy (1583 - 1641). - Blind stamped pigskin over wooden lids. The clasps are only preserved in fragments, the center area of the rear board is heavily bumped. Boards and pages with minor worm traces (occasionally slight loss of letters), otherwise very good condition with firm binding and clean text.
