A WRIGGLE WORK PEWTER PLATE POSSIBLY AMERICAN OR FRENCH, DATED 1799 Inscribed 'Anne Catherine Balaine', centre decorated with marriage symbols of a floral basket with heart surmounted by a peacock and peahen 41cm diameter AND A BROAD RIM DISHED PEWTER PLATE 17TH CENTURY With engraved armorial 13cm diameter Provenance: Property from the Phillip Lucas Collection, Spitalfields House Condition Report: First wear as per age and use- surface quite dirty and with old paint spots, scuffing to centre- slight crease to top of rim and larger bend to rim around date Second- heavy wear to surface Wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning.
