A WORCESTER FLUTED BLUE-GROUND PART SERVICE CIRCA 1770, BLUE OPEN CRESCENT MARKS Painted in colours with garlands of flowers below a blue band gilt with flowerheads on either side of an undulating line and between gilt dentil and scroll bands, minor wear to gilt dentil edge, comprising: A sugar-bowl and cover, interior stained, 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) diam. A cream-jug, 4½in. (11.4cm.) high An oviform tea-cannister, cover missing, 5¼in. (13.3cm.) high A waste-bowl, 6 5/8in. (16.8cm.) diam. A scalloped saucer dish, short hairline rim crack to underside, 8½in. (21.5cm.) diam. Twelve coffee-cans Twelve scalloped saucers, hairline crack to underside of one, 5 3/8in. (8.5cm.) diam.; together with a similar fluted tea-cannister and a straight-sided beaker, open crescent marks, painted in blue and enriched in gilt with flowers 5 3/8in.
