Wellby to William Gregory 10 ¼ in. (26 cm.) wide over handles 36 oz. 3 dwt. (1124 gm.) The inscription is for William Welby (d.1704), Lincolnshire and William Gregory (b.1694 ), the son of George Gregory (d.1746 ) M.P. for Nottingham and Susanna , daughter and heir of William Williams of Rempton .
