A well detailed 32ft:1in scale display model of the Union Line (later Union-Castle Line) passenger liner S.S. 'Norman' , built by R.A. Wilson with masts, derricks and rigging, anchors, winch bollards, deck rails, companionways, hatches, deck winches, superstructure with bridge and wing bridges, ventilators, stayed funnels, engine room lights, deck lights, fore and aft deck houses, fourteen lifeboats in davits and many other details. The hull, with simulated plating, twin shafts, propellors and rudder is finished in red, white and buff with natural wood decks and mounted on two turned brass columns, glazed case -- 7½ x 20¾in.
