A bronze Grand Tour sculpture of Dionysus, called Narcissus 19th Century H. 61.6 cm Note: After the famous ancient Roman statuette, created between the 1st century BC. and 1st century AD, which was found during excavations in Pompeii in 1862, and now part of the collection of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. The original, created by an artist of the school of Praxiteles, was initially identified as a statue of the mythical handsome Narcissus, later interpreted as an image of the god Dionysus.
