Raised on four acanthus scroll and anthemion bracket feet. The fluted scroll handle with ivory insulators opposite a panelled curved spout. The hinged stepped domed lid surmounted by a detachable cast pumpkin or gourd and leaves finial. The body with engraved decoration of foliate C scrolls and flower head reserves, each side with a vacant cartouche. Fully marked underneath and part-marked to lid, handle and finial, lion passant only to retaining nut. Length – 18 cm / 11 inches Weight – 687 grams / 22.08 ozt
