A VICTORIAN SILVER TANKARD AND A PAIR OF SILVER BEAKERS THE TANKARD MARK OF JAMES BARCLAY HENNELL, LONDON, 1884; THE BEAKERS LONDON, 1881, MAKER'S MARK JB The tankard cylindrical on three ball feet, the body and hinged domed cover inset with English coins and engraved with corresponding monarch's name and reign date, scrolling handle with heart-shaped terminal, hinged cover with finial of lion supporting shield with Royal coat-of-arms, the base engraved THIS TANKARD WEIGHING OZ. 35 15 WAS MADE TO RECEIVE 37 COINS OF ENGLISH HISTORY , marked on base ; together with two beakers, each tapering and inset with coins, the base engraved THIS CUP WEIGHING 0Z. 7 WAS MADE TO RECEIVE 25 COINS OF 1820 GEORGE IV 1830 AND THIS CUP WEIGHING 0Z. 7 WAS MADE TO RECEIVE 25 COINS OF 1830 WILLIAM IIII 1837 The tankard 10 in.
