A Victorian silver swing-handled cake basket, by Robert Hennell London 1842, in the mid 18th century manner, oval form, pierced with scroll and mullet decoration, the border with masks, grapes and sheaves of corn, leaf capped swing-handle, the centre engraved with an armorial, on four scroll feet, length 39.5cm, approx. weight 56oz. The arms are that of Corbett impaling Montchancey quartering Pe(a)rt.
