Lupton 42 Cornhill London, 1175" with Roman numerals, gold hands and subsidiary seconds dial, to table roller lever escapement with oversprung compensated balance, Liverpool runner with fusee and maintaining power, Bosley index on silver quadrant, engraved balance with diamond endstone in blued steel setting, the movement contained in dust rim, in engine turned silver, 54mm diameter (gross weight 156 grammes), hallmarked London 1865 and with case maker's mark "T.H." (Thomas Holliday, 108 Goswell Road, London) (Top pivot and Balance broken ) Note: Clifford Lupton recorded working in London 1869-1881, worked for Barrauds for some years, died in 1910 aged 85 years
