A very rare Worcester potted meat pot circa 1760 of oval shape with gently tapered sides, the rococo embossed panels printed in blue with the 'Early Peony Print' pattern, the interior further printed in blue with the 'Floral Gift' pattern of a young Chinese boy holding a flowerpot beside a large peony, crescent mark, 13.3cm long (fine crack to base) Provenance: Ex. Wychwood and Zorensky Collection. Purchased at Bonhams Zorensky Collection Part 1, 16th March 2004, lot 372.
