A VERY RARE TURQUOISE-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE BOTTLE VASE QIANLONG IRON-RED SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795) Finely enamelled around the body and the tall neck with four large lotus blooms borne on a continuous meander of curling tendrils issuing ripe melons, with butterflies in flight, all reserved on a turquoise ground, the slightly spreading foot encircled by a band of detached lotus sprays above a classic scroll in gilt on iron-red ground, the trumpet neck with a pink floral band, the rims gilt 14 5/8 in. (37.1 cm.) high
